First, let me introduce myself, my name is Rocky Mitolo.
I've been a trainer since 2012, and have worked with a wide range of people. From stay at home mom's & dad's, to working singles, to retirees, and even physique athletes such as men's physique, bikini, and figure competitors.
I studied exercise physiology at Ohio University, and am currently an American Counsel on Exercise (ACE) certified personal trainer.
I, myself am a competitive natural bodybuilder. I am constantly continuing my education by learning about & reading the latest literature that is health and wellness related.
Why Lithic Fitness?
If you've hired a personal trainer in the past, or even if you haven't I'm sure you either have stories or heard stories about it not going so well. Here are a few examples of what sets the Lithic Fitness philosophies apart from everyone else.
Truly individualized training programs
It's been seen 1000 times. Someone signs up for personal training to get one of two things:
- a trainer who gives them workouts that they use
- a trainer who only does what's "hot & new"
Both of these things rarely work out for clients. There is definitely something to said for training like your trainer, but it needs to be in a way that a client can sustain and enjoy. Too often trainers get caught up in what they do, and not what a client needs. The other half of trainers want to stay relevant so they jump from trend to trend, incorporating all types of flashy movements or accessories into their workouts that usually cause more harm than good.
They answer is a program that is build by me AND my client. Something that will let them achieve whatever their goals may be (fat loss, muscle gain, strength, endurance, mobility, functionality, etc.), something that is enjoyable, and something that fits their experience level.
Program Flexibility
Making a program that works is one thing, but if a client can't stick to it then it will never work, even if it's the best program every written. I work with my clients to build a schedule that suits their lifestyle with flexible training hours in the mornings (Mon-Sat) and evenings (Mon-Fri).
This flexibility extends into all aspects of the clients program, including the scheduling, the workouts, and even the nutrition plan!
Setting up clients for success not only helps keep them motivated, but also ensures that they increase their health & well-being all while loving the process.
Experience with real people
Since 2012 I've been helping reach their fitness goals. From single working mothers to full time doctors. I have worked with people who are young and athletic, and also those in their later years who just want to move pain-free.
No matter the age, workout experience, or even your current weight, working together we will come up with a plan to help you achieve whatever goals you have for yourself. Using the most up to date literature on health, wellness, fat loss, and muscle gain I know what works and what doesn't. Combining that with years of hands on experience with people from all age and fitness levels, with a goals that ranges from bulking up a skinny high school kid to helping overweight parents run around with their kids. We will get your to where you want to be, and living your best life!
